Service Dog Saves Woman’s Life After She has a Seizure (Star Telegram, Texas – June 1, 2011)
When Debbie Zeisler had a seizure on May 28, 2011, she fell, hit her head, and was unconscious. Bear, her German Shepherd Dog, went to a neighbor’s house to get help. According to animal control officer Karen Kessler who happened to be in the neighborhood, Bear was wandering from door to door. Kessler saw Bear’s service dog tags and found Zeisler.
