Say hi to Gracie! Gracie is a loving, happy Golden Retriever who passed her AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test last summer with evaluator Tracey Martin and is currently training to take her Canine Good Citizen test later this month.
Gracie loves to play and can almost always be found with two or more toys at a time. Her owner, Diana McCarthy, says that one of her favorite things is ear rubs and she likes to cuddle, chase birds at the park, and make new friends. Diana says Gracie lives by the motto “Everyone needs some Golden in their life” because she wants to meet everyone she sees and thinks everyone should have the pleasure of meeting her. If a movie was to be made about Gracie, Diana says Reese Witherspoon would play her because Gracie, like the actress, is blonde and funny!
Thanks to Diana McCarthy for this great picture! “Like” CGC on Facebook and keep posting photos of your CGC and S.T.A.R. grads. Don’t forget to include the particulars about your dog — name, age, breed, when he/she passed the test and who the CGC/S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluator was, fun facts — and I’ll try and feature your photo in an upcoming post so you can tell the world your puppy is a S.T.A.R. or Canine Good Citizen!
You can also tell everyone your dog passed by downloading our new social media icons and posting them on your website, blog, or social media pages. The icons and instructions on how to download them can be found on the American Kennel Club’s CGC and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy pages.
In the meantime, keep checking back for tips, tricks, fun photos, and CGC news!
