Facebook Friday Photo of the Week (6/17/11): Congratulations Gizmo!

Say hi to Gizmo!  He is a lovable Siberian Husky who just passed his Canine Good Citizen test on May 18th!  One of Gizmo’s hidden talents is that he can speak — his owners Lyndsay and Noah taught him to say “I love you” and “bye”.

Gizmo’s owner Lyndsay says that this Husky loves people, food, and water!  His favorite thing is to go straight to the kiddie pool at the dog park.  He loves water so much that he just lays there when he’s getting a bath.

Thanks to Lyndsay for this great picture!  “Like” CGC on Facebook and keep posting photos of your CGC and S.T.A.R. grads.  Don’t forget to include the particulars about your dog — name, age, breed, when he/she passed the test and who the CGC/S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluator was, fun facts — and I’ll try to feature your photo in an upcoming post so you can tell the world your puppy is a S.T.A.R. or Canine Good Citizen!

You can also tell everyone your dog passed by downloading our new social media icons and posting them on your blog, website, or social media pages.  The icons and instructions on how to download them can be found on the American Kennel Club’s CGC and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy pages.

In the meantime, keep checking back for tips, tricks, fun photos, and CGC news!

I’m so happy to see Gizmo, one of my all-time favorite students! He is a real personality! Everytime he’s given a command, he has to ask, “Are you sure? Do you really want me to sit?” Love you Gizmo!! ♥
